Performing Arts

Patricia’s love for the performing arts began in childhood, though social anxiety held her back for years.
By gradually stepping outside her comfort zone through pageant talent competitions, medical school performance groups, and later online platforms, she built the confidence to share her art. Today, she has performed in numerous group productions and occasional solo acts, as a hobbyist singer, dancer, and acrobat.
Channelling her inner Taylor Swift, Patricia is currently crafting a catchy collection of original pop songs exploring mental health, covering topics from the dynamic duo of serotinin & dopamine, to patient confidentiality, trainee bullying in medical culture, DSM-5 reforms, informed consent in clinical trials, medical ethics, and more!

Singing & Dancing
Patricia's previous performances are available on her YouTube playlists under Arts in Medicine, UBC Med Galas, and FIFE Girls. Solo singing is generally posted on Instagram.

Acrobatic Yoga
As a dedicated hobbyist, Patricia has taken her acro-yoga practice to 6 countries across 4 continents. Her current level is beginner-intermediate, so her performances are memorable more for their playful humour than technical perfection. Compilation videos are available on YouTube under Acroyoga Around the World. Her inspiring journey, progressing from an inability to do a headstand all the way to acquiring intermediate skills, has been documented on Instagram.
